FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil-field equipment for mechanized oil and gas extraction by well sucker-rod pumping units. Automatic belt tensioner for pumping units includes movable frame installed on base of pumping unit with possibility of movement in horizontal plane by means of lead screw. Electric motor with drive pulley of belt transmission is fixed on the table, which is hinged to the frame for installation at an angle to the frame by means of upper and lower springs. Upper spring can be pressed to table by means of rod with tension nut. Table hinge is located on the side of electric motor, rod is rigidly connected with movable frame and inserted into table hole on the side remote from reduction gear. Lower spring is installed between the table and the frame away from the rod. Tensioner is equipped with limit stop limiting table deviation from frame by more than 15° angle.
EFFECT: simple and reliable to ensure constant belt tension during the entire life of pumping unit by transfer of hinge towards electric motor with limitation of deviation angle from vertical within 3–15° and installation of lower springs irrespective of upper and rod.
