SEGMENTATION OF ANATOMICAL STRUCTURE BASED ON MODEL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2721078 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for segmentation of anatomical structure. Disclosed is a system which includes a workstation and a machine-readable medium for realizing the method, the system comprising: an image data interface for accessing image data representing a medical image comprising an anatomical structure to be segmented; a model data interface for accessing model data which define models for segmenting anatomical structures, each of which is presented in form of a set of coordinates in a coordinate system; and a user interaction subsystem comprising: a display output for displaying a medical image type on a display, and an input for a user device for receiving input commands from a user device controlled by a user. At that, the user interaction subsystem is made so that it enables the user to mark the set of boundary points of the anatomical structure on the said form so that to obtain, thus, set of coordinates in coordinate system associated with said type; processor for selecting one or more of said models for segmenting an anatomical structure on a medical image by: j) determining the degree of correspondence between said set of boundary points and each of said models based on comparing corresponding coordinates to obtain, therefore, degree of compliance and jj) selecting one or more models from said models based on said degree of compliance indicators to thereby obtain one or more selected models.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher efficiency of anatomical structure segmentation.
