FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing a smoking composition for tobacco without tobacco alkaloids, involving preparation of initial raw materials based on tea leaves, slicing prepared raw materials, fermentation and aromatisation, wherein raw material used is Ceylon large leaf tea, having pH = 4.5-5.5, fractional composition and size of fragments of boiled tea leaf from 4x6 mm to 20x27 mm, caffeine content 2.1-2.9%, content of glycoside-catechol-tannin complex 9-15%, in preparation of initial raw material it is preliminarily moistened to 18-22% and heated to temperature of 40-50°C, then treated for 5-10 minutes with a sharp steam at pressure of 3.0-5.0 bar and cut into fibers with width of 3-4 mm, then the fibers are subjected to hydrothermal treatment with hot water with temperature of 90-100°C for 5-10 minutes and drying tea raw material to moisture content of 16-20%, and the prepared raw material is soaked by heating to 70-90°C a homogeneous mixture of glucose-fructose syrup having a pH = 3.5-5.0, acidity of 4.0 cm³ with a mass fraction of solids 70.0-71.5% glucose 40.0-44.0% by weight, fructose - 50.0-57.0 wt%, and food glycerine, with weight ratio of tea raw material, food glycerine and glucose-fructose syrup correspondingly 15±5% : 65±5% : 20±5% followed by fermentation of composite mixture for 5 days at temperature of 50-60°C, cooling fermented composite mixture for 15-20 minutes to temperature of 18-20°C and aromatization by application of aromatic additives in amount of 5.0-10.0% of total weight of composite mixture with subsequent removal of composite mixture before packing.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing stable original flavor and aroma profile during 60-80 minutes of smoking with preservation of taste density and stability.
