SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aqueous suspensions. Described is an aqueous suspension for treating a disease responding to histone deacetylase inhibitors, containing givinostat and/or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, at least a wetting agent, at least a substance, imparting a density, at least a buffer agent and at least a suspending agent; where wetting agent is sorbitan fatty acid polyoxyethylene ester, poloxamer or a mixture thereof, the substance imparting a density, is sucrose, sorbitol or a mixture thereof, and the buffer agent is a phosphate buffer, a citrate buffer or a tartrate buffer, and the suspending agent is tragacanth gum or guar gum.
