FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for quality control of welded joints. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the automated system for monitoring the quality of welded joints comprises clamps for its attachment to the controlled article, a scanning head, mechanism for displacement of a detonation head, a system for supply of contact liquid, which includes a container with contact liquid, a pump and a tube, remote flaw detection equipment, and equipment for powering, controlling, processing and recording information, connected to a distortive head, a pump and electric motors of movement mechanism by electric cables, wherein it is equipped with a cylindrical housing with a sealing ring on the end surface, in the upper part of the cylindrical surface of the housing a ventilation hole is made, in the upper and lower parts of the cylindrical surface of the housing there are installed sensors of contact liquid presence, mechanism of distortion head movement is made in form of shaft passing in axial hole of flat part of housing through sliding bearing with magneto-liquid seal, from outer side of housing shaft is rigidly connected to reduction gear, and electric motor, which controls reduction gear, is made reversible and comprises a turning angle sensor, on the housing inner side on the shaft a lever is mounted, on the end of which a detective head is fixed in the form of a separate-combined piezoelectric transducer with an elongated acoustic screen, connected by electric cable passing through hollow channels of lever and shaft with remote flaw detection equipment and power supply equipment, control, processing and recording of information, the following components are arranged in series on the shaft: shaft thickening, resilient element and sliding bearing, on which with the possibility of rotation and movement in axial direction there is a plug with magneto-liquid seal, plug is made in form of rigid shaped disc with elastic sealing ring along its perimeter, on end of shaft on plug side locking nut is made, tube for supply of contact liquid connects pump with lower part of housing, pump is additionally made with possibility of pumping contact liquid from container with contact liquid into housing and back.
EFFECT: technical result is increased reliability and efficiency of circular weld seams control.
