SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water heaters, as well as to pipes for output of gaseous combustion products of water heater and methods of heating fluid medium. Contains case restricting inner space, heating source arranged in housing inner space and containing at least one burner, a combustion gas discharge pipe arranged in the housing inner space and configured to release gaseous combustion products through it from the at least one burner, and heat exchangers. Heat exchanger is arranged in the inner space of the housing and is connected to the burner. Additional heat exchanger is located in the internal space of the housing and is connected to the pipe for discharge of gaseous combustion products. Gaseous combustion products from the burner form the first heat exchange fluid medium of the additional heat exchanger. Additional heat exchanger is arranged in the combustion gases discharge pipe and comprises a tubular circuit configured to transport heated fluid there through, forming second heat exchange fluid medium. Additional heat exchanger tubular circuit comprises a number of tubular sections passing through the combustion gases discharge pipe in the combustion products movement direction, and forms a flat panel which is parallel to the panel formed by the main heat exchanger.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of compact and efficient water heater with two heat exchangers.
