SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and device for horizontal separation of mineral wool linen. Mineral wool web is fed on the conveyor and longitudinally cut by at least one separating device into at least two intermediate webs when said solidified web is fed from mineral wool. At that at least one lifting mechanism is arranged downstream of separator to lift said section with intermediate web thereon. There is at least one device for horizontal cutting of intermediate web lifted in said section of conveyor.
EFFECT: enabling production of thin articles.
