FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of building materials and can be used for heat, sound, and fire insulation of building structures for various purposes in industrial and civil construction. A method for producing mineral wool thermal insulation materials based on environmentally friendly basalt rocks includes sifting porphyrite and dolomite to isolate a fraction of 6-12 mm, placing raw materials of the specified fraction in separate bins and simultaneous dosing of raw materials onto a belt conveyor with subsequent feeding into a bath-type electric gas furnace with a transverse direction flame and recuperative heating of combustion air to produce a melt. The resulting melt is fed into a centrifuge to form fibres and impregnate them with a solution of a binder, previously obtained by mixing concentrated phenol-formaldehyde resin with a solution of urea, anti-dust emulsion, silane and process water. The impregnated fibres are transported into the fibre deposition chamber to form a carpet, it is pressed, processed in a polymerization chamber to harden the binder, the carpet is cooled - a compacted layer of mineral wool heat-insulating material, it is cut and packaged in polyethylene shrink film.

EFFECT: improvement in the quality of the melt, production of mineral wool products with increased stable physical and mechanical properties and optimal thermal conductivity.
