FIELD: vehicle multimedia systems.
SUBSTANCE: method of controlling a multimedia system of a motor vehicle comprises steps of establishing identification data of one or more users, sitting on front seat of a vehicle, using sensors of longitudinal position of corresponding seat and weight sensors in seat and selecting output audio content based on the established identification data of one or more users of the vehicle. Multimedia unit has at least one storage device. When the only user in the motor vehicle is a driver, automatically selecting a playlist associated with the driver, and when there are several users in the motor vehicle, they are offered to select multiple playlists based on identification data of users sitting on the corresponding front seat.
EFFECT: higher comfort of vehicle control.
