FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control systems of vehicle components. Control system of at least one vehicle component comprises a computer including a processor and memory. Memory stores commands executed by computer to detect user gesture and gesture of second user based on received data from one or more motion sensors, identify user gesture attributes, including at least one of hand vectoring, articulations wrists and articulations fingers, based on gesture, including corresponding movements of each of multiple fingers of user. Gesture attributes additionally include at least one of motion at the beginning of gesture and movement at the end of gesture. Based on the identified gesture attributes, the user and the second user and the actions to be performed in the vehicle are identified. When determining that the driver and passenger made their respective gestures simultaneously, an action is performed to control at least one component of the vehicle in accordance with the gesture of the driver and ignore the passenger's gesture.
EFFECT: higher comfort of vehicle control.
