FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: intermediate device for supporting transmission of power to electromagnetic load (505) from power transmitter (201) comprises resonant circuit (507), which includes throttle (801) and capacitor (803), where throttle (801) is configured to connect to power transmitter (201) through first surface area (509) and to electromagnetic load (505) through second surface area (511). Resonance circuit (507) is configured to concentrate energy of the electromagnetic power transmission signal from the first surface area (509) to the second surface region (511). Device further comprises a receiving/transmitting unit (807) for exchanging messages with power transmitter (201). Receiving/transmitting unit (807) transmits a request message to power transmitter (201), containing request to power transmitter (201) for generation of electromagnetic measurement signal. Load indication processor (813) determines load indication, indicating loading of electromagnetic measurement signal, and detector (815) detects presence of electromagnetic load in response to indication of load.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency and expansion of functional capabilities in wireless transmission of power.
