FIELD: printing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a printing device, in particular to a device for printing documents, which are separated from the tape by a blade driven by an electric motor. Printing device, in which the printed document is separated from the continuous paper tape by the blade driven by the reversible motor, which rotor can rotate in forward direction in normal operation mode and in backward direction in order to unblock blade in case of its jamming. At rotation backwards at first there is an initial phase without transfer of force to the blade, and then the tooth made on the rotor shaft of the engine comes into contact with another tooth made on the gear wheel bushing, as a result of which force is transferred from rotor to blade, thus providing release of blade.
EFFECT: result is effective elimination of cutter blade jamming.
