FIELD: printing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a printing device for printing tickets in public places, equipped with a system for preventing paper entanglement, in which an optical sensor for detecting presence of paper is located in a zone, where there is a paper lift in case of an obstacle to passage of paper through the outlet neck; wherein before printing, paper does not reach sensor, as a result of which sensor is in configuration OFF; at start of printing, paper moves forward until it is above sensor, as a result of which sensor switches to ON configuration; from that moment, if the sensor returns to the OFF configuration, it means that the paper is no longer detected by the sensor, since it is lifted by an obstacle, as a result of which the paper supply is interrupted.
EFFECT: object of the invention to provide a printing device capable of obviating the above-mentioned limitations and drawbacks of the prior art.
