SUBSTANCE: method of controlling reuse of a wireless medium comprises steps of: determining, at an access point, to permit reuse of a wireless environment by one or more stations in a basic service set (BSS); transmitting, when allowing reuse, indicating that reuse of the wireless medium is allowed for stations meeting the criteria. Determining and transmitting one or more reuse parameters. One or more reuse parameters include one or more of transmission power, level of energy detection (ED), a threshold of reception signal (RSSI) indication of a transmitter, a RSSI threshold of a prospective receiver, a threshold RSSI function based on one or more preamble parameters and based on indication of interference value, allowed in units. Reuse parameters comprise multiple reuse parameters which are different for different stations.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of control over reuse of wireless environment when using various reuse parameters.
