SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method of transmitting a channel probing reference signal (SRS) comprises steps of: receiving, at a first terminal device, first indication information from a network device, wherein the first indication information indicates the position of the first symbol for transmitting SRS of the first terminal device in the first uplink subframe; and transmitting, from first terminal device SRS of first terminal device to network device in first symbol; wherein the length of the first symbol for transmitting SRS of the first terminal device is not equal to the length of the second symbol for transmitting downlink data of the first terminal device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of channel aging effect on accuracy and efficiency of transmission with preliminary coding/formation of downlink pattern based on reciprocity of uplink/downlink channels.
