SUBSTANCE: network device sends a resource configuration of a physical uplink control channel (hereinafter – PUCCH) used for restoration of beam failure to a terminal device, where the resource configuration of PUCCH includes a corresponding beam of PUCCH transmission. When detecting an event of beam failure, the terminal device sends a request for restoration of transmission beam failure to the network device based on the resource configuration of PUCCH and corresponding periodicity of PUCCH. Periodicity of PUCCH can be configured by the network device or can be the set periodicity.
EFFECT: possibility of a terminal device for flexibly and effectively restoration of beam failure.
