FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of processing outer and inner surfaces of a dielectric tube by means of a surrounding barrier discharge. When implementing the method, an electrode is placed in a liquid electrolyte, the treated tube is supplied to the electrolyte, voltage is supplied with variable frequency to the electrolyte by means of an electrode; at that, the tube is supplied to the electrolyte at the distance l equal to 1 mm ≤ l ≤ 30 mm.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of roughness of surface and increase in hydrophilicity of outer and inner surfaces of dielectric tube.
