FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. The lever (100) of a valve drive is intended to drive an engine valve. The lever (100) includes an arm (102) rotatable around an axis (104), a diverting element (106), a coupling mechanism (110), and a drive element (120). The diverting element (106) adjoins or contacts with the cam of the distribution shaft of the engine. By means of the coupling mechanism (110), the diverting element (106) is elastically connected with the arm (102) in the first state and rigidly connected in the second state. The drive element (120) is connected with the arm (102) and adjoins or is in contact with the push rod of the valve. The coupling mechanism (110) comprises a compression spring (118), supported by the arm (102) and preloading the diverting element (106) in the transverse direction. The compression spring (118) adjoins the diverting element (106). The coupling mechanism (110) includes a counteracting spring supported by the diverting element (106), preloading the plunger (162) in the transverse direction, and the diverting element (106) in the first state is distanced from the plunger in the transverse direction. The diverting element (106) comprises a control unit (130) installed on the outlet side and is coupled with the plunger chamber (112) by a fluid medium (144). The control unit (130) comprises a slide valve (138) with one working surface on the inlet side and one working surface on the outlet side, smaller than the working surface on the inlet side. Disclosed are an internal combustion engine with a lever of a valve drive and a vehicle with an internal combustion engine.

EFFECT: reduction in the level of noise during operation and the intensity of wear.
