FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to cartridge injectors. Injector comprises a body and a stem. Body and stock are equipped with finger thrusts to allow translational and return stroke of the rod relative to the body. Housing comprises cartridge cavity, attachment for cartridge needle, holes for rod and said needle, projection to limit back stroke of rod, working cavity for stem return stroke limiter. Housing is characterized by the possibility of visual control of the cartridge and restriction of movement of the cartridge in the translational motion and in the return stroke of the rod. Said rod is furnished with cartridge piston pusher and stem return stroke limiter. Working cavity for the stem return stroke limiter is located between the cartridge cavity and the ledge to limit the rod stroke. Limiter of return travel of rod is located on head part of rod body. Dimensions of the working cavity are selected from the condition of free return stroke in the given cavity of the specified limiter by the distance not exceeding the thickness of the piston of the cartridge.

EFFECT: higher reliability of the injector during the aspiration test, higher safety of the injection.
