FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve actuation actuator for valves, taps, gate valves or shutters with automatic closing function. Disclosed is valve actuator (10), including damping circuit with capacitive damping current circuit (37), which is activated in generator mode of step motor (18). Damping circuit together with winding (26) of electric motor forms resonance circuit LCR, which has stabilizing and regulating effect on rotation frequency. Rotation frequency of stepping electric motor (18) operating in generator mode is maintained at a constant level within preset limits, and without control action of control circuit. As a result, damping circuit is functionally reliable and reliable in operation even in case of no-control state regardless of external power supply system. At the same time the valve is quickly closed, as well as reliably prevents too large inertia run-out of electric motor (18).
EFFECT: technical result is creation of valve drive, which can be used on valves or shutters of different standard size and provides reliable automatic closing.
