FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rodent for assessing loss of a long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) function, comprising a modified endocrine locus of lincRNA in its genome, a method for its production, as well as to its cell, tissue and embryo and a method for production thereof. Also disclosed is a directed vector for modifying endogenous locus of rodent lincRNA, as well as a method of modifying a lincRNA locus. Invention also relates to a method for confirming whether a phenotype is shown in a model on an animal, a long intergenic non-coding RNA (lincRNA) knockout on a locus, with the loss of the lincRNA function involving using the above rodent.
EFFECT: invention enables effective evaluation of loss of long intergenic non-coding RNA function.
