SUBSTANCE: method and system for determining and notifying a user of the need to replace worn tooth cleaning head (104), comprising steps of receiving, at least, one measured value from sensor (106); calculating, using said measured value, wear factor of tooth cleaning head; modeling, using the specified wear factor, the estimated service life of the dental cleaning head; according to service life model, replacement of the dental cleaning head is required; and user is notified when determining replacement of dental cleaning head.
EFFECT: disclosed are a system and a method for determining and notifying a user of the need to replace a cleansing dental head.
