SUBSTANCE: economy method of manufacturing component (1) for clock face or hand component (1), in which: casing material is selected for each visible surface (2): amorphous metal, or nanocrystalline alloy, or alloy of gold, and / or silver, and / or copper, and / or rhodium, and / or titanium, and / or aluminum; is made in first tool (3) of casing material with initial thickness (E) greater than or equal to 50 micrometers, thickened hollow workpiece (4), initial thickness (E) of which is greater than 20 micrometers, wherein said workpiece (4) has excess thickness (5) with respect to each visible surface (2), wherein said workpiece (4) comprises first cavity (6) for accommodating support element (7); inner side material is selected to make inner member (7); making support element (7) and attaching it to first cavity (6); one visible surface (2), which must remain visible, is mechanically treated with a diamond tool, removing all excess thickness (5) or its part from workpiece (4).
