SUBSTANCE: invention relates to а method of manufacturing a composite component of a watch or jewelry, including making a base (1) from a first material containing a first visible surface (11) and a first supporting surface (12), making a second ceramic material, or sapphire, or at least partially an amorphous material of a structure (2) containing a second visible surface (21) and a second support surface (22) and having a through hole (23) extending through the entire thickness of said structure (2), for each through hole (23), making from a third material at least one insert (3) suitable for mating installation in said through hole (23), gluing said base (1) and each structure (2) to each other so that each first support surface (12) and each second mating support surface (22) snugly adhered to each other, fixing each said insert (3) in its corresponding through hole (23).
