METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE RISK OF DEVELOPING ATRIAL FIBRILLATION IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE, TAKING OMEGA-3 POLYUNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS IN CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFTING Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/00 A61K31/20 A61B8/00

Abstract RU 2722052 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used to determine a risk of developing atrial fibrillation in patients with ischemic heart disease, taking omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in coronary bypass. Following parameters are determined: age in years, left atrial diameter in millimeters, concentration of reduced glutathione in mcmol/g of blood plasma erythrocytes hemoglobin after operation, concentration of malonic dialdehyde in mcmol/g of blood plasma erythrocytes hemoglobin after operation, activity of matrix metalloproteinase-9/mg of blood plasma after operation, omega-3 index in blood plasma erythrocytes membrane after operation. Risk index of the atrial fibrillation P is calculated by an original calculation formula. If P is less than 0.5, developing atrial fibrillation is not predicted; if the P index is greater than or equal to 0.5, the patient is predicted to develop atrial fibrillation.

EFFECT: method enables determining a risk of developing atrial fibrillation in patients with ischemic heart disease, taking omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in coronary artery bypass grafting.
