FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in patients with ischemic heart disease after coronary bypass surgery, method includes determining time of ischemia in minutes, time of aortic compression in minutes, left atrium diameter in millimetres, left ventricular ejection fraction in percents. Then, taking into account age and certain hemodynamic and perioperative parameters, calculating a prognostic index F. Based on index F, predicting a risk of atrial fibrillation.
EFFECT: method enables to predict risk of postoperative atrial fibrillation that enables performing timely differential antiarrhythmic therapy and thereby considerably reducing risk of atrial fibrillation.
