FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for investigation of thermophysical characteristics of heat-insulating materials with large internal inhomogeneity, mainly, vacuum heat-insulating articles. In compliance with this invention, heat flow is generated by heat release source. First portion of the heat flow is first passed through the first reference object with high heat conductivity and then through the analysed object. Dependence of temperature of first reference object on time is measured. Second part of the heat flow is passed through the second reference object with high heat conductivity, and then through the heat-resistant material. Dependence of temperature of second reference object on time is measured. Ambient temperature and time intervals during which the temperature of the first and second reference objects is increased by a predetermined value at seven different levels of initial temperatures of the first and second reference objects are determined. Substituting values of differences of time intervals, during which temperature of first and second reference objects is increased by a given value, and value of ambient temperature into equations, having generalized form:
where i = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and then solving a system of seven equations using a computing device relative to seven unknown values αh1, αh2, α1, α2, χ, W and Ru, the latter of which is the specific thermal resistance of the analysed object.
EFFECT: technical result is high accuracy of measuring specific heat resistance of the analysed object.
