FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and can be used to study the thermophysical characteristics of heat-insulating materials with a large value of specific thermal resistance, mainly vacuum heat-insulating products. To measure the specific thermal resistance, the heat flow is formed and divided into two flows, one of which is passed sequentially through the first reference object with a small value of the specific thermal resistance and the object under study, and the other flow is passed through the second reference object with a small thermal resistivity value, the time intervals during which the temperature of the first and second reference objects rises by certain predetermined values are determined by the average difference of the time intervals divided by the corresponding value of the temperature increase of the first and second reference objects, the value of specific thermal resistance of the object under study is determined from the graph of the relationship between these values, which is obtained previously by replacing the object under study with variants of the third reference object with a different known value of specific thermal resistance, the same geometric dimensions as the object under study, and close values of thermal diffusivity.
EFFECT: reduction of root-mean-square error of measurement of specific thermal resistance to 6%.
