FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a substrate coating, in particular a substrate, having a plurality of pores or channels, a low-viscosity coating solution. Coating application apparatus includes a coating application container, which includes a receiving chamber limited by a wall and configured to receive a substrate, a fluid inlet opening located below the receiving chamber. Besides, the plant includes a reservoir valve located below the receiving chamber; tank cover made with possibility of tight engagement with reservoir for coating application; filling sensor. Also, the plant includes an injection pump configured to deliver a coating solution to the fluid inlet, recirculation pump configured to receive a coating solution from a reservoir valve and an optional vacuum pump. Method of coating a substrate with a low-viscosity coating solution involves placing the substrate inside the receiving chamber of the coating container. Receiving chamber is confined by wall, and substrate is arranged to determine upper part and lower part. Coating method also involves engaging a reservoir cover with a reservoir for applying a coating to form a sealed connection, pumping of low-viscosity solution for application of coating through hole for fluid inlet, located below receiving chamber, at pressure sufficient for under its action solution for coating application entered into receiving chamber, entered the lower part of the substrate and moved up through the pores or channels present in the substrate. In addition, coating method includes opening reservoir valve located below intake chamber, to enable flow of part of low-viscosity solution which does not participate in coating process for application of coating from substrate through valve of reservoir and keeping part of low-viscosity solution participating in coating process for application of coating in pores or channels of substrate. Multi-installation coating system includes a coating application unit.
EFFECT: disclosed are systems and methods of applying solution onto a substrate.
