FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for estimating lead content in muscular tissue of sheep in chronic intake with diet, which consists in the fact that based on metal concentration in wool and faeces, levels of its accumulation in muscular tissue are determined using formula Cm=Cw×0.33×Ce-0.304, where: Cm is concentration of lead in muscle tissue (mg/kg), Cw – concentration of lead in wool (mg/kg), Ce – concentration of lead in faeces (mg/kg).

EFFECT: method is developed for assessing lead in muscular tissue of sheep, which can be used in agriculture for lifetime determination of levels of accumulation of metal in sheep meat.
