FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of experimental physics, in particular to explosion-magnetic pulse energy sources, generating current pulses of mega-ampere level with possibility to control output voltage, and can be used, for example, to study properties of high-temperature plasma, for feeding gas-discharge chambers of "plasma focus" type, for acceleration to high speeds of liners. Explosive current pulse shaper contains current lead isolated from it dielectric ribbed barrier, breakable conductor, at least on one of which surfaces grooves are made with formation of ribs under dielectric ribs barrier, grooves are made on both sides of the destructible conductor, the ribs are located one under the other, the main charge of the explosive substance separated by the through insulator from the internal current conductor, the initiation system with the explosive charge for the main explosive charge blasting, the external current conductor is electrically connected to the destructed conductor and the internal current conductor, main explosive charge and destructible conductor are divided into fragments by metal thin-walled inserts of U-shaped profile with external ledges installed between ribs of fragments of destructed conductor, with formation of sections including fragment of ribbed destructible conductor and main charge fragment, wherein the ribs of the breakable conductor are galvanically connected to the projections, and the depth of the cavity in the U-shaped profile inserts with the outer protrusion is greater than the thickness of the bushing.

EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of regulating output voltage pulse of explosive current pulse shaper (VFIT) by shape and amplitude.
