SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to non-therapeutic use of the composition for reducing, or lowering, or eliminating the deterioration after exercise and the use of the composition for treating and/or prevention of diseases caused by physical activity, selected from: muscular pain, muscular soreness, muscle inflammation, muscular fatigue and/or muscular degeneration, to increase the amount of muscular energy and improving mitochondrial functions in a subject with deficiency thereof, by oral administration to a subject of a composition comprising a mixture of: a bacterial strain Bifidobacterium breve BR03 DSM 16604 and bacteria strain Streptococcus thermophilus FP4 DSM 18616 or as an alternative to consisting of them, where bacteria strains Bifidobacterium breve BR03 DSM 16604 and Streptococcus thermophilus FP4 DSM 18616 are present in a weight ratio of 1:1, and in amount of 5×109 CFU/g of each strain in the composition.
EFFECT: disclosed is a bacterial composition for use in reducing deterioration after exercise.
