FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of torque at motor shaft and can be used to determine power and (or) efficiency factor. Task of the proposed invention is simplification of the technical implementation of the torque measurement method. Method for measuring torque on motor shaft is characterized by using measurement of angle of inclination of parallel shaft axis of straight lines applied on surface of resilient element – torsion, transmitting torque from engine to actuator, photographing parallel lines using stroboscopic illumination with frequency equal to shaft rotation frequency and determining α inclination angle of lines at torsion loading by torque M, value of which is determined by formula M=α/K, where K is proportionality coefficient determined during calibration in stationary conditions.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility of instant determination of torque on shaft of engine, pump, etc.
