SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to aluminum alloys and their preparation, and can be used, for example, as a blank for heat exchanger plates. Aluminum alloy contains, wt. %: 0.7–3.0 Zn; 0.15–0.35 Si; 0.25–0.65 Fe; 0.05–0.20 Cu; 0.75–1.50 Mn; 0.50–1.50 Mg; up to 0.10 Cr; up to 0.10 Ti; up to 0.15 impurities and the rest of Al.
EFFECT: invention is directed to the production of aluminum alloys with high mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and ability to form.
