SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for objective assessment of a respondent's effect on visually perceptible objects. Background electroencephalogram is recorded by recording a potential value of the electroencephalogram of the user for a given time with closed eyes and for a given time with open eyes. User is presented with objects. Direction of the view of the user is determined with the possibility of determining fixation of the gaze of the user on the object. Values of electroencephalogram potentials of the user are registered with provision of encephalograms wave parameters registration. Relative attention levels for each of the objects are determined.

EFFECT: method provides reduced labor costs associated with determining the impact of marketing objects on respondents, reduced number of respondents involved in the study, as well as provides the possibility of forming target groups with fewer participants.
