DIAGNOSTIC METHOD OF A PERSON'S PSYCHOPHYSICAL STATE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/16

Abstract RU 2722453 C1

FIELD: medicine; psychophysiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used in psychiatry, psychosomatic and preventive medicine, psychology for assessment of individual's psychophysical state. Test subject is presented with test tasks on the touch-screen display, responses to which the test subject gives by touching the screen. Tasks are presented in the form of visual stimuli different in size, content, color, duration of demonstration. Number of correct answers and errors is recorded, the time spent by the person being tested for measuring test tasks is measured. Specially selected tests base is generated in the memory of the computing device, when access to which is performed, three groups of test tasks are displayed on the screen and presented to the person being tested. First group of said tests requires a high rate of response to the stimulus from the person being tested. Second group of tests requires mainly logical abilities. Third group of tests mainly requires good short-term memory. In each specified group of tests there proposed is at least one pair of test tasks, the first of which is simple, the second one is more complicated. Ratio of the time for executing a simple test task to the time for executing a more complicated test task is taken as a reaction rate coefficient kR, a coefficient of logical capacity kL and a short-term memory coefficient kM in the current psychophysical state of the person being tested. If several pairs of test tasks are used, each of said coefficients kR, kL, kM is calculated as an average value of results of several tests of said diagnostic parameter. Integral result Ψ of diagnosing the current psychophysical state is the sum of three derived coefficients.

EFFECT: method provides reducing the time of diagnosis and increasing the reliability of determining the current psychophysical state of a person, which enables to quantify the effectiveness of the patient's activity with high demands on rapid response to stimuli, logical thinking and memorizing information.
