FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for accurate landing of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a landing platform. To implement the method, a video frame is obtained with a clearly visible image of the UAV when it is in the landing zone using a video camera mounted on the base station or launching platform landing platform, UAV position on video image is determined using computer vision methods. Data on coordinates of UAVs from sensors located on its board are obtained. Data obtained at the landing platform and data from the UAV board are compared. Control signals are sent to correct the landing path considering correction factors obtained based on comparison of said data.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of landing UAV.
