SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing multilayer glass used as glazing of a vehicle, preferably as a windshield. Multilayer glass comprises arranging the functional element in the thermoplastic carcass film recess, placing the thermoplastic carcass film with the functional element between the first glass sheet and the second glass sheet to form a multilayer system and subsequent connection of multilayer system into multilayer glass by lamination, wherein thermoplastic carcass film and functional element have different thickness, and thickness difference is at least partially compensated by at least one thermoplastic levelling film, thickness of which is less than twice greater than difference in thickness of thermoplastic carcass film and functional element, so that maximum deviation in multilayer system is less than difference of thicknesses of thermoplastic carcass film and functional element.
EFFECT: invention provides a method of producing multilayer glass with embedded functional elements, which leads to high optical quality and prevents glass breakage when a functional element and thermoplastic films with different thicknesses are used.
