FIELD: layered products.

SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to multilayer glass with at least one electrically switchable functional element, to a method for production thereof, and to an application thereof as a vehicle glazing. The multilayer glass includes at least a first glass plate, a second glass plate, and a thermoplastic intermediate layer connecting the first glass plate with the second glass plate, including a first lamination film with a thickness of at least 0.3 mm, and one or multiple second lamination films with a thickness in each case of no more than 70 microns. The first lamination film is applied substantially over the area between the first glass plate and the second glass plate. A second lamination film is applied in the area of at least one functional element and extends to the limits of the outer edges of the functional element with a protrusion x of at least 1 mm and no more than 10 mm. The sequence of layers in the area of the electrically switchable functional element consists of the first glass plate, the second lamination film, the electrically switchable functional element, the additional second lamination film, the first lamination film, and the second glass plate.

EFFECT: claimed group of inventions is aimed at reducing the visibility of an electrically switchable functional element embedded in multilayer glass.
