FIELD: lifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous strip casting. Device comprises a pair of rolls (11a, 11b), guide plate (31) of arched cross-section to direct strip (2) to set (35) of guide rolls, installed below rolls (11a, 11b). Guide rolls (35) provide support of the strip, its turn and passage in the lateral direction. Traveling unit displaces guide plate in direction of strip and withdraws from it. Space in which the guide plate and guide roller (35) are placed is limited by the casting chamber with inlet and outlet holes. On parts (23, 24) there are open parts (23a, 24a), through which pass parts (35aa, 35ab) in form of shaft of first guide roller (35a). Bearing parts (42, 43) provide rotary support for part (35aa, 35ab) in form of shaft. Lifting-lowering unit (60) for guide feed roll is arranged on casting chamber (20) outer side and is designed to lift and lower bearing parts (42, 43).
EFFECT: prevention of rupture of moulded strip.
