FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to continuous casting. This strip is produced at two-roller casting machine wherein working force is applied to each roller via roller support elements to displace them toward each other. Major portion of axial force balances ferrostatic head of metal onto rollers. Cooling water is fed to rollers via revolving jointed attached to one or both ends of rollers. Revolving joints are arranged so that cooling water flows entering said revolving joints and flowing therefrom act on rollers, mainly, along rotational axes of said rollers. Weight of cooling water feed hoses and that of drive spindle are not transferred to rollers.
EFFECT: higher quality of cast products.
