FIELD: life-saving methods and devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of individual protection of personnel of power structures. To reduce a person's back injury in passive individual protection against high-energy striking elements of small arms and ammunition fragments, multi-link distribution and damping of kinetic energy of striking elements (7), wherein there is no contact with human body (3) of front protective element (1).
EFFECT: invention provides for reduction of a person's backstroke injury by passive individual protection by a combined distribution of kinetic energy of destructive elements on front and rear elements of protection, damping of kinetic energy due to plastic deformation of the frontal element, damping in shock-absorbing elements, excluding the side effect of striking elements on the human body by excluding the direct contact of the frontal protection element and the human body.
