FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aircraft control method and system. To control aircraft, access to onboard data of relative positions relative to each other and to runway is provided using stored data and reflected radar data corresponding to radar targets. Position of aircraft is established using navigation system. Difference between estimated and established position is calculated. System comprises a data base aboard an aircraft, a radar station and a correlator configured to implement the method.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of guidance of aircraft during approach to landing.
