FIELD: ventilation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special devices for ventilation of gas-proof shelters with contamination of ambient air outside the premises and, in particular, saving lives by cleaning external contaminated air and supplying them to a service room. Installation of life support system comprises filter-absorber, inlet branch pipe for connection of inlet window of filter-absorber with external air supply air duct, fan with drive, filter absorbent outlet opening line with fan inlet opening and outlet branch pipe for connection of fan outlet window with room air supply duct, wherein fan is selected so that vacuum is created in its input window communication line with filter-absorber outlet opening required for passage of required air flow through filter-absorber and its cleaning, and compression of cleaned required air flow by fan to required value of excess pressure in outlet branch pipe for passage along supply air duct of room and maintenance in room permissible for vital activity of increased excess pressure of air relative to pressure of external air, in addition, the outlet branch pipe is equipped with throttling device, and the fan is selected with the possibility of compression of the cleaned air flow rate to the increased pressure in the outlet branch pipe in front of the throttling device by the value of hydraulic pressure losses on the throttling device.

EFFECT: reduction of the range of reduced consumption of cleaned air in the room during the period of operation of the SPL from the moment of connection with the new filter-absorber to the moment of switching-off for replacement of the filter-absorber without using complex devices - pressure regulators or air flow rate.
