FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and reconstructive surgery. Under anesthesia by means of a flat elevator an inferior nasal concha is luxated. That is followed by a horizontal incision of the mucous membrane in the anterior end of the inferior nasal concha sufficient for passage of the raspatory. Mucosa is separated back from the front by means of a raspatory. Surgical bur is used to thinner the bone plate of the inferior nasal concha in the place of the prospective fracture, and then laterally displaced with its long branches of the nasal mirror.
EFFECT: method enables enlarging the lumen of the common nasal passage by thinning the bone plate for the controlled fracture of the inferior nasal concha, recovering adequate nasal breathing, improving the postoperative period, reducing the percentage of postoperative recurrences.
