FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creation of quantum standards of frequency and time (atomic clock) on the basis of resonances of coherent population capturing in atoms of alkali metals, in particular to systems of thermal stabilization and magnetic shielding of absorbing cell of their quantum discriminator. System for thermal stabilization and magnetic shielding of absorbing cell of quantum discriminator comprises at least a pair of cylindrical magnetic screens arranged concentrically around cell of quantum discriminator so that inner magnetic screen surrounds cell, and external magnetic shield surrounds internal magnetic screen, wherein said magnetic shields are located with a gap between them, in which there is a vacuum or which is filled with an inert gas. Each screen is equipped with tightly installed end covers, in which through holes for passage of laser radiation are coaxial, wherein from outer side of end covers of outer screen there are windows tightly closing holes of said covers, wherein internal magnetic screen is equipped with means of heating and thermal stabilization of absorbing cell, located on its outer surface, facing inner surface of external screen.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling protection of discriminator from external magnetic fields, as well as in enabling reduction of power consumption and size of device.
