FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for monitoring the possible presence of tire defects on a tire manufacturing line. Tire control device comprises a linear chamber having an axial line of the lens lying in the optical plane, first, second and third light sources, intended for radiation of the first, second and third light radiation, respectively. Device comprises control and monitoring unit configured to selectively switch on at least one of first, second and third light sources and switching on the linear chamber to obtain a two-dimensional image of the linear portion of the tire surface synchronously with the inclusion of the first, second and third light sources. First and second light sources are located on opposite sides of the optical plane, wherein each of the first, second and third light sources comprises one or more sub-sources, each of which has a corresponding main direction of the length parallel to the optical plane, and the distance from the sub-source of the third light source to the optical plane is less than the distance from the first and second light sources to the optical plane.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining two-dimensional images on tire surface, which is adapted for embedding into one line with tire production line intended for production of tires.
