FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of tire surface and their subsequent processing. Method for implementation of tire control device on production line includes the following stages: alternating illumination of the tire surface area by means of the first and the second light radiation falling under the sliding angle, and obtaining respectively the first and second two-dimensional digital images of the said illuminated surface section. At that, for each point of the surface area, the corresponding total light force of the first and second light radiation incident at the given point respectively comes from two half-spaces, which are opposite with respect to the optical plane passing through the perpendicular to the surface at the given point, and comparing the first and second images to obtain information on the surface profile of the surface.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of establishing differences between structural elements in the form of reliefs or depressions on surface and two-dimensional surface elements.
