FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for prediction of prosthesis instability in endoprosthesis replacement of large joints. Method involves taking venous blood on an empty stomach, performing centrifugation at 1,500 rpm, removing supernatant, which is poured into separate test tubes of 1 ml into each, incubation of samples in thermostat at 37 °C, blood test. Novelty is that one test tube with supernatant is left control, and in each of other test tubes one sample of material is used, of which prostheses are made with volume of 150–200 mm3. That is followed by incubating the supernatant of all samples for 18–24 hours, after which, for each sample, at least three analytical cells are prepared by edge dehydration, are microscopically inspected in polarized light with counting 100 anisomorphons, in which the number of degenerative-dystrophic anisomorphons is determined, and if the specimen sample shows the material of degenerative-dystrophic anisomorphons by 10 % more than in the control sample, development of instability of this endoprosthesis is predicted.

EFFECT: disclosed method enables preventing development of a pathology in the form of prosthetic dysfunction following endoprosthesis replacement.
