FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of combined etching and strip rolling. To reduce capital costs, the installation contains a line of continuous etching, storage devices (20, 20') for the accumulation of an etched strip with a capacity of 1,000–3,000 meters of strip, reversible rolling mill with at least two first stands (19) located downstream of accumulator (20), first drum (21) located downstream of the first two stands for winding the strip after an odd rolling step, for winding a roll weighing from 100 to 300 tons and a diameter of up to 6 meters, welding machine (2') installed between the pickling line and the first stands, at least one second drum (16) located upstream of the first stands and downstream of welding machine (2'), for winding at least one part of the strip after an even rolling step in the direction opposite to the direction of the odd stage, at that the second drum having a size allowing to wind the portions of the strip with a specific gravity of 15 to 21 kg/mm; first cutting device (22, 23) located between the second drum and first stands (19), that is configured to cut the rolled strip each time after winding a part of the strip with a specific gravity of 15 to 21 kg/mm on the second drum, at that welding machine (2') is configured to weld the front end of the rolled strip cut by the first cutting device to the front end of strip to be rolled.
EFFECT: device provides an economical production of high quality products.
